Julie A. Ellenbecker-Lipsky, CFP®

As her daughter, Julie has a lifelong relationship with Karen and even sounds like her! She has worked with Karen in the financial field since 1993 and has held a pioneering role with Ellenbecker Investment Group since it was founded. She is an integral part of the company's succession plan and is in a position to continue Ellenbecker Investment Group when Karen is ready to retire. Julie’s primary role is to oversee Ellenbecker Investment Group and promote its high level standards through every aspect of its growth. Julie is personable, knowledgeable and has built strong relationships with our clients, employees and partners.

Julie is a member of our Investment Committee, which along with Capital Market Consultants, is instrumental in researching, selecting and monitoring the investments chosen for our portfolios. Julie is a member of the Financial Planning Association.

Julie is an advocate of volunteerism and philanthropy and holds a director position on the Rogers Memorial Hospital Foundation where one hundred percent of all donations directly support the hospital’s patients and treatment programs.  She is also the chair of the Fund Development Committee for Rogers Memorial Hospital Foundation. Julie is a founding member of the Ellenbecker Investment Group Charitable Foundation as well as her family foundation Reconstruct. Additionally, Julie is a board member for Lake Country Charity Connection whose mission is to unite community members with local charities.

Julie is a registered representative with SII Investments, Inc. holding Securities registrations Series 6 (Investment Company products/ Variable Contracts Limited Representative), Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law), Series 65 (Uniform Investment Advisor Law) as well as Health and Life Insurance licenses. Julie received a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERtm  certification after completing education course requirements in Financial Planning, Retirement Planning, Tax Planning, Estate Planning and Insurance Planning. Julie is a graduate of the Leadership Intensive Program, a powerful personal development program for individuals and leaders who care passionately about living and working a life of significance.

Julie also holds a Bachelor degree in Education from the University of WI-Milwaukee.

Julie lives in Nashotah with her husband Tom, son Joe, daughter Mia, and her nieces Taelor and Autumn.  She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, camping, boating, reading, entertaining, traveling, teaching and learning.
