Joleen S. Kane

Joleen has worked with Karen Ellenbecker since 1993 and left Dain Bosworth to join Karen when Ellenbecker Investment Group was formed in 1996. Joleen has been a strong support to both Julie and Karen Ellenbecker and is a visionary for Ellenbecker Investment Group. Currently, she works hand in hand with equity and bond money managers and oversees the risk management/ insurance division with long-term care, life insurance, and insurance for estate planning. Joleen is a member of our Investment Committee, which is instrumental in selecting and researching the investments made for clients. Joleen is specifically responsible for selecting and monitoring the large cap portfolio holdings and the individual income producing equities.

Joleen has the following securities registrations: Series 7 (General Securities Representative), 24 (General Securities Principal), 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law), and 65 (Uniform Investment Advisor Law) with SII Investments, Inc. as well as Life and Health Insurance licenses. Joleen has completed the first of 6 modules towards the attainment of her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification. Joleen has a Bachelor’s degree from University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee with an emphasis on Management Information Systems. She is also a graduate of the Leadership Intensive Program, a powerful personal development program for individuals and leaders who care passionately about living and working a life of significance.

Joleen has two daughters, Emily and Ashley. Emily graduated from University of Missouri St. Louis and is now a Children’s Service Worker for the State of Missouri. She blessed them with their first granddaughter, Harper, in 2009. Ashley is attending art school in San Francisco. Joleen’s marriage to Edward Kane grew her immediate family, adding her husband’s two children, Stephanie and Andrew. Both are married and Stephanie blessed them with granddaughter #2 in 2011.

Joleen is a member of St. Therese Parish and her interests include reading, cooking, walking, hiking, kickboxing, writing, needlepoint, and spending time with her immediate family, parents and five sisters.
