EIG Charitable Foundation
Our charitable foundation began as a conduit for our employees and community to come together. Today, it is a personal and philanthropic initiative for making a difference in other people’s lives.
What started more than 10 years ago as a collection of mittens to keep a client’s kindergarten class protected from the elements has grown into a year-round effort. Our Hats & Mittens Project now provides hats, mittens, books and school and health supplies for the nearly 400 children in K3 through 5th grade at Albert E. Kagel Elementary School in Milwaukee. It has grown into a one-day event, complete with holiday goodies and pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
In 2006, the Ellenbecker Investment Group Charitable Foundation was established as a 501c(3) non-profit, allowing all contributions to be tax deductible. Ellenbecker Investment Group matches 100% of the donations made by employees on an annual basis and pays for all the staffing and marketing that is needed for the charity that now reaches throughout Milwaukee and Waukesha counties. Unlike many non-profit organizations, 100% of all donations directly benefit the children and the programs that have been established.
