As part of the team at Ellenbecker Investment Group, Dawn schedules guests for Karen Ellenbecker’s popular and long-running radio show “Money Sense,” coordinates publication of EIG’s quarterly newsletter, handles various award nominations, advertising and media, and helps plan the many events and communications EIG uses to keep in touch with clients and others. She currently works part-time around her children’s busy schedules.
Prior to joining Ellenbecker Investment Group in 2007, Dawn worked in a variety of locations and environments including assistant to the Associate Dean and Director of Academic Programs at Oregon State University, safety coordinator and other duties at malting plants in Wisconsin and North Dakota, lab technician at a malting plant in Belgium, and positions in a variety of office settings. She is working toward her B.A. in Liberal Arts.
Dawn is also a director on the board of the Ellenbecker Investment Group Charitable Foundation. She commits many hours throughout the year planning, organizing and shopping for our annual holiday event benefiting hundreds of children.
Originally from Oregon, Dawn and her family have lived many years in Wisconsin. Her husband Vince is an employee at MillerCoors in Milwaukee and they have a daughter in high school and a son in middle school. Dawn is active in Boy Scouts and as a school volunteer. She was honored as a Presidential school volunteer in 2004 and as Scout Unit Volunteer of the Year in 2011. Some of her favorite things to do are gardening, reading and hiking.
