Mary Olson, VP of Operations

Mary joined Ellenbecker Investment Group, Inc. in 1997 and is an integral part of our team. She coordinates operational functions for clients' accounts which include the following: new account set up, account transfers, daily account activity review, market trend analysis for pending trades, check requests, and cash balance maintenance. She personally assists our clients on completing paperwork and answering questions as a support to the sales team. She oversees the supervision and training of the operations staff.

Mary holds a Series 6 (Investment Company/ Variable Contracts Limited Representative) and 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law) registrations with SII Investments, Inc. She has a Bachelor of Science in Finance and minor in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Mary also is a graduate of the Leadership Intensive Program, a powerful personal development course encouraging the use of our unique gifts in the world. Mary received the SII`s 2002 Outstanding Assistant Award, which recognized the top five assistants in the company based on exceptional service, demonstration of leadership and initiative at work and in the community.

Mary lives in Menomonee Falls with her husband, Scott, son, Justin (11) and daughter, Miranda (6). Miranda is our youngest worker in Ellenbecker history. Miranda was part of our "Baby at Work" program, where infants come to work with their mothers until they are 6 months old. Mary is a member of St. Anthony's Church and enjoys exercising, gardening, baking and spending time with her family. She is grateful to have three sisters, a brother and her parents who all live in the Milwaukee area and one sister who unfortunately lives long distance in Iowa.
